Recently, Chengdu Wattsine Electronics Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Wattsine”) was honored with the Special Prize Certificate of the China Nuclear Society Science and Technology Invention Award.

The China Nuclear Society Science and Technology Awards represent a prestigious honor established by the Society to promote innovation and advancement in nuclear science and technology, recognizing organizations and individuals who have achieved pioneering accomplishments in this field.

In December 2025, the China Nuclear Society officially announced the results of its 2025 Science and Technology Awards. The highly anticipated Special Prize for Technological Invention was awarded to the project “National Space Major Demand Proton Displacement Damage Effect Simulation Test Facility.” Developed to address critical fundamental research needs, this facility generates high-quality proton beams with a broad and precisely tunable energy range of 10-60 MeV, featuring high current density, a high duty cycle, and extensive scanning coverage. As China's first and only dedicated facility for simulating proton displacement damage effects, it has significantly bridged a gap in domestic space radiation testing capabilities. It has now become a vital experimental platform supporting the advancement of China's space science, space technology, and the development of domestically produced aerospace components.

In this major national scientific project, Wattsine participated as a key equipment supplier. The solid-state power generator provided by Watersen serve as the critical radio frequency (RF) power units for the facility. Their exceptional stability and reliability ensure a dependable energy supply for simulation experiments, assisting the project team in overcoming technical challenges under demanding operational conditions.

Compared to traditional vacuum tube-based power sources, Wattsine's solid-state  power generator offer significant advantages, including superior stability, longer lifespan, enhanced reliability, and flexible power modulation. They deliver exceptionally smooth and controllable RF energy to the accelerator system, which is essential for producing high-quality, stable proton beams. This capability, in turn, guarantees the accuracy and reliability of the radiation simulation test data.

This accolade is a recognition of Wattsine's decade-long commitment to technological innovation and excellence. Looking ahead, Wattsine will continue to focus on serving large-scale scientific facilities such as particle accelerators, driving further transformation and application of scientific and technological achievements.
